Camping

I know it has been awhile since I've blogged, so I will do my best to catch up. At the beginning of Sept we went camping for one night. We weren't sure what to expect from Aubrey, but she LOVED it. The only problem was the sleeping at night, or lack of sleeping I should say.

They had several playgrounds there which she loved.

She will find a leaf anywhere, even when you didn't think there were any, and want to carry it around with her

Munchkin

This has become Aubrey's favorite spot. She loves to sit behind our chairs on the screened-in porch.

If Aubrey's bathing suit is sitting out, she always finds it and puts her arms through the straps. She loves to wear it like a purse and walk around the house.

Craig is in big trouble! He started this new thing with Aubrey where she rides on his back. Well, to no one's surprise, she wants to do it all the time! If you're sitting on the floor, she pushes your back over so she can get on. I must admit, it is pretty adorable!

Pool with Bonnie

Aubrey and I went to my good friend, Bonnie's pool before her boys, Avery and Hayden, had to go back to school. We had so much fun!

Aubrey loves Avery and he played with her almost the whole time. It was sooo cute!

Blueberry Farm Trip

We did some blueberry picking recently and had such a great time. It was pretty cool to look for those little berries and we're going to make this an annual tradition.

Another one of Aubrey's favorite things to do is wear our shoes or slippers around the house. She is surprisingly pretty good at walking in them. She is always pulling them off our feet and then puts her feet in them.

Coolidge Park Fountains

I see that I am really behind in posting pictures. Here are some pictures from when Aubrey and my sister's girls had lots of fun playing in the fountains at Coolidge Park. Best part for my sister, my mom and I...Sweet Cece's Yogurt! We can't wait for it to cool off a little bit more so we can go again.

Stop at St. Louis

We also stopped in St. Louis on our way home from WI since it was about half-way and we had never been before. We had a great time and first went to the Zoo there. The zoo was huge and did I mention that it was FREE!

These orangutans walked up to where we were standing and started snuggling and put this sheet over them.

This orangutan was ENORMOUS! You had to see it. It had to have been as big as King Kong!

Aubrey thought it was hilarious to put her ball in her mouth. Then she would open my mouth with her hands, put the ball in my mouth, and put her hand under my chin and shut my jaw. She is so silly!

Of course, we had to go up in the arch while we were there. It was really cool and Aubrey did great on the ride up/down. She didn't like it at the top though.

This is what the "car" looks like that you ride up/down in. 5 people fit very tightly. On the way down, we sat with another couple and their two kids. Good thing they were nice and normal!

Look closely at the top and you will see little black rectangles. Those were the windows we looked out at the top.
