Happy Halloween!

Aubrey had a great 1st Halloween. She was a little Yellow Jacket (and so was Lillie). We stayed at home and Grammy, my mom, came over. Craig went trick-or-treating with the neighborhood dads and their kids. Craig and Aubrey only trick-or-treated at one home, so Aubrey got one piece of candy (Whoppers!) and really just rode in the stroller the rest of the way. My mom and I stayed home and passed out candy. One of our neighbors brought Aubrey baby food for her "treat". My other neighbor gave her a cute stuffed Halloween bear for her "treat".

Trick-or-treating sure makes you hungry. She's still wearing her mittens.

It's time for bed, but as you can see, Aubrey didn't want Halloween to be over already. However, she did fall asleep within 2mns of laying her down in her crib.

Pumpkin Carving and 6 months old

We had Aubrey's 6 month doctor's appointment this week. She is doing great and is in the 75th percentile for height and weight. Unfortunately, she had a small temperature and therefore, she could not receive her vaccinations so we will have to go back again in two weeks. She is acting normal and doesn't feel warm so we had no idea she had a temp.

Sitting in the doctor's office...what a cutie pie (and no, I'm not talking about myself)!

Craig was definitely more excited about pumpkin carving than Aubrey was this year. But I'm sure next year, she'll be much more in to it. The pumpkin we bought was almost bigger than her!

Sitting Up

Here's our little sitter. She started sitting up a lot last week all by herself. She's really good at it and can do it for long periods of time now. It's so amazing how she does something one day and then does it great from then on out.

I love my pink shoes!

Chewing on this parrot feels great on my teething gums

Lillie also likes this toy because it squeaks

Trip to Aquarium with Grammy

Grammy (my mom), Aubrey and I went to the aquarium recently and had a great time! Aubrey loved looking at all the fish. However, her favorite thing to look at were the bubbles and anytime we saw a waterfall.

Watching the penguin

Aubrey really loved it inside this aquarium. It seemed she could spend all day in there looking at and reaching for the fish.

Looking at the upside down jellyfish

This is only the beginning for Aubrey. For most of my life, my mom has forced me to pose next to a pretty flower and take a picture. So, here's Aubrey's first picture with a pretty flower. (Sorry Aubrey, Grammy made me do it!)

She must have liked it.

Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard

Craig and I took Aubrey to an apple orchard to get my some of my favorite fruit and to a pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. We had such a great time and think we will make this a new family tradition.

Helping me pick out some apples

Apparently, I wasn't doing a good enough job and she had to pick them herself.

Does this fit into my mouth?

I'll help hold the bag mommy!

This was taken at a local restaurant that we ate lunch at. She was being so funny. What a delicious burp cloth.
What a copycat!

At the pumpkin patch

I want this one daddy!

Whoever buys this pumpkin, will also get some good drool with it!

Maybe this will fit in my mouth!

Aubrey was very tired by the end of the day, so we did not even get a picture of her with the pumpkin we did buy. We will take a picture once it's carved.
